Sweet Productions are a disability-led company based in Auckland NZ, with whom I have been lucky enough to work on a couple of genuinely delightful projects: Wheel Blacks, charting the trials and tribulations of the NZ wheelchair rugby team as they try to qualify for the Paralympic Games; and License to Drive, which follows a diverse cast of learner drivers with disabilities takes to the road in a bid to gain the independence that driving brings — and it’s an absolute gem of a show.
